Athletics

Students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of athletic activities.  Sports team programs for upper grades are offered as follows:

• Boys football, grades 7-8
• Girls volleyball, grades 7-8
• Boys and Girls basketball, grades 5-8
• Boys and Girls track, grades 5-8
• Swimming lessons at the Mauston High School pool, grades 6-8

Coaches strive to make the team experience a positive one which develops and challenges the physical abilities of students and teaches the Christian value of sportsmanship in a non classroom setting.  St. Patrick's belongs to the Tri-County League along with eight other parochial schools.

There is no cost to the parents for the athletic program.  It is fully funded by a once-a-year fund-raiser called "Hunters' Night Out."
