Call the school at (608) 847-5844 St. Patrick's has a state-of-the-art computer lab with high speed Internet, all new in 2003. All grades attend two 45 minute periods weekly. In addition to the computer lab, each classroom has a cluster of three computers, which are used by the student and teacher. St. Patrick's School provides a strong Roman Catholic identity for its students through daily classroom prayer, religion instruction, and participation at weekly Mass. Opportunities to experience and express their faith are offered. Students serve as readers, musicians, servers and members of the choir during the weekly Masses. Advent services, Reconciliation before Easter and Christmas, Stations of the Cross during Lent, a May Crowning ceremony, the Living rosary in October and other special Liturgies help our students integrate a total education concept of Christian service and community. All teachers of Religion have acquired basic or advanced Religious Education Certification through the Diocese of La Crosse. The Pre-K program at St. Pat's is designed to foster social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development in our children. We work with each child to develop in them a positive self-image and to foster the joy of learning. All of the activities in our program are designed to expand the child's understanding, increase manipulative skills and develop creative potential. The Extended Care program runs from 3:15 - 5:35 PM everyday that school is in session. The cost is $2.00 per hour for the first child and a multiple child discount rate. The cost will be tabulated for each quarter hour. Activities will be planned daily and the students will receive an after school snack. If school is released early because of weather, extended care is cancelled. Extended care does not operate on non-school days. |
